It is educational from the standpoint of introducing the steps a child should be aware of in such situations. Whilst the pace of these cartoons are nice and slow, it is unlikely to grab the attention of any children as young as 0-1 years old. There are no really scary points or dramatic emphasis on actually being lost though, so it may be suitable for bedtime viewing. (Use discretion.)
